killa design completes its ‘address beach resort’ tower, which rises above the shoreline of dubai. the tower is defined by a single structure interrupted by a narrow central void, suggesting two slender towers which reconnect with a sweeping, pool-topped rooftop. the project rises to a height of 301 meters, or nearly 1,000 feet. the two towers are organized with both hotel and residential programming. while the western half hosts 14 floors dedicated to hotel and 54 floors of services apartments, the eastern half is occupied by 68 floors of residential apartments.
the team at killa design punctuates its ‘address beach resort’ with a roof-top destination restaurant, bar and infinity pool. meanwhile, a wide selection of specialty and all-day dining restaurants, along with design-minded bars, are discovered throughout the tower, on the pool decks, and at the end of the revetment as an entrance to the dubai marina. car parking is located along the three basement levels of the building while three podium levels host valet parking to serve the hotel.
killa design’s ‘address beach resort’ towers are expressed with an elliptical plan while its central void serves to increase natural sunlight. the vertical void further enhances views out across the palms, dubai’s JBR beach, and the distant horizon beyond. in essence, the building functions as two towers with separate cores that are connected by the lobby at its base and by the penthouses and sky lofts at the top.
